2020 Season Canceled but looking forward to season 2021
As COVID-19 continues to spread, the future has never felt so unpredictable for team sports. These are challenging times for us all, and we hope you are in good spirits and health!
As a church, we have had a robust discussion about the future of Banner Church Upward League. We have made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 Upward season. The regulations are changing rapidly on what it even means to have a season. These changes have caused us to push back registration and preparation for the season. With the constant change, there are too many hurdles to overcome to safely provide a healthy environment for your kids this year and be in compliance with the state & CDC regulations. It was a heartbreaking decision that none of us wanted to make.
We know and understand what this league means to our community, and this is why we fully plan to return in 2021. Our goal is to open registration for the 2021 season on May 1st!
