Faith In Action

Each year Banner sets aside one Sunday to worship a little differently; we call it Faith In Action Sunday. In the spring we compile a number of tasks around our community to help individuals, community services, or the community itself. On that Sunday we come to church dressed to give back and then head out in teams to worship with our hands. Some teams build ramps for those with disabilities while others clean up the trash along our roads. Some families work together to put in gardens for those who are financially strapped and some invest in local food and clothing banks. From providing free child-care at the local Laundromat, to blessing our local fire departments, we hit the streets with one goal in mind- Love God, by loving His people. It’s a great morning for all of us and we look forward to serving together again this spring!
